Beyond labor, Grupo Enhol’s Social Investment Plan launched a renewable energy training program in partnership with TECSUP. This initiative secured scholarships for four local youths in energy and industrial specialties and facilitated entry for seven more students through preparatory courses. The company also implemented safety, occupational health, and environmental training for local staff, along with workshops to enhance service quality and formalization for local suppliers.
Educational outreach includes distributing the original children’s book “The Magic of Life: Energy” to 173 early education students to raise awareness of renewable energy. Additionally, the company funded English instruction for 220 students at Juan Velasco Alvarado school and support services for students with special educational needs at San Camilo school.
Grupo Enhol, with 18 years in Peru and over 90 years globally, leverages renewable energy projects like Illa to stimulate economic and social growth beyond infrastructure, reinforcing its mission to address community needs by generating employment, education, and local business formalization as part of a sustainable development model.
