The San Martín component includes new links and expansions improving supply to Moyobamba, Rioja, and Nueva Cajamarca provinces. Junín receives network reinforcement benefiting agroindustrial zones including Oxapampa, Villa Rica, and Pichanaki. Ucayali’s investments strengthen transmission serving Pucallpa, while Ica will deploy a new 220/60 kV Viñedos substation addressing growth in the Villacurí agroexport corridor. Tacna works relieve saturation at the Los Héroes substation, enabling capacity for future agricultural and urban development.
The package offers international infrastructure operators a 30-year concession period, regulated revenues, and geographic diversification reducing operational risk exposure. ProInversión is executing a promotion timeline including final contract publication in November 2026 and award before year-end. Group 4 belongs to the 16-project Transmission Plan 2025-2034 package commissioned by the Ministry of Energy and Mines in February 2025.
Projects follow a self-financed state initiative structure executed under public-private partnership (APP) modality, allowing energy infrastructure expansion without compromising public treasury resources.
