Spanish energy company Cox has commissioned the Itararé II-Capão Bonito transmission line in Brazil’s São Paulo state two years earlier than contracted, demonstrating accelerated execution capabilities in a market where the firm now operates over 2,500 kilometers of transmission infrastructure. The €62 million project represents Cox’s second completed concession since entering Brazil in 2023, with additional substations and transmission expansions scheduled through 2027 as the company pursues roughly €85 million in further concession investments awarded in 2024.
