ENGIE Energia Peru has centralized control of six renewable power plants totaling 618 MW and over 600 kilometers of transmission lines through a new remote operations center in Lima, positioning the company to scale its integrated platform to 1,200 MW by 2030. The SCADA-based facility consolidates real-time monitoring and control of wind, solar and hydroelectric assets while incorporating artificial intelligence tools to optimize availability and response coordination across the national grid. The deployment follows global ENGIE Group standards and signals the company’s operational strategy as it pursues major solar and transmission projects including the 140 MWac Hanaqpampa development.
