Grenergy’s Oasis de Atacama and Central Oasis platforms now combine for 3.9 GW of solar capacity and 19.2 GWh of storage across Chile. The company has begun replicating this hybridization model in Europe through its Iberian Oasis platform, which has already secured the first tolling agreement with an international investment-grade utility in Spain and closed the country’s first hybrid project financing for the Escuderos project. Iberian Oasis is targeting 1 GW of solar capacity and 3.2 GWh of storage, with recent additions including the 285 MW Andrea project and the 100 MW Índalo facility.
CEO David Ruiz de Andrés stated the transaction brings Grenergy close to 40 percent of its project finance debt target under the 2026-2028 strategic plan. The financing structure demonstrates international banking confidence in long-term PPA-backed hybrid renewable models that provide revenue stability and enable more efficient capital access. Legal advisory was provided by Barros & Errázuriz and Milbank LLP for the lender group, while Clifford Chance advised Grenergy on the transaction. The deal structure included $26 million in credit lines alongside the core financing facility.
