The project incorporates battery storage for electrical backup and a wastewater treatment plant, though storage system capacity awaits determination during detailed engineering based on final data center specifications. Internet Society registers eight active data centers in Venezuela as of 2026, though these vary in characteristics and not all target artificial intelligence applications specifically. Cirion Technologies operates CAR1, a 25-year-old Caracas facility with 4 MW of proprietary generation and architecture described as AI-ready. The TP AI Factory project’s scale significantly exceeds existing installations, contingent on securing specialized partners and completing permitting processes currently underway.
