Finnish energy developer Korkia is advancing a new investment line in Chile targeting powered land sites designed to support data center development by integrating renewable generation, battery storage and grid connection infrastructure. The company has identified Chile as one of four active markets for this model alongside Finland, Sweden and the United Kingdom, while evaluating opportunities in additional countries where it operates. The approach links data center energy requirements directly with solar, battery and transmission projects, addressing grid capacity constraints that limit large-scale digital infrastructure investment across the region.
